Automated high-bay warehouse

With a height of 32 m and a floor area of just 7,500 m², the high-bay warehouse can accommodate 52,000 pallets of unchilled food and food packaging. The pallets are transported on conveyor belts to the heart of the warehouse, where several stacker cranes handle storage and retrieval – all fully automated.

AutoStore

This automated small parts storage system stands out for its exceptional storage density. Thanks to its compact design, 30,000 containers can be accommodated within just 685 m² of floor space while providing capacity for as many as 7,000 inventory items. Thirteen robots and three workstations ensure efficient storage and accurate picking of the boxes.

Collaborative robot (cobot)

Maximum flexibility: Thanks to its full integration into DACHSER’s processes, including connection to our WMS Mikado, the autonomous mobile robot (AMR) navigates autonomously and safely through the warehouse. Various load carriers with loads of up to 1,000 kg are transported precisely and effortlessly around obstacles thanks to sensors. This enables highly efficient mixed-operation system.

Hood shrinking system

Bulky pallets are provided with a precisely tailored and efficient packaging solution. A film cover is pulled over both the products and the corners of the pallets, vacuum-sealed, and then shrunk using heat. This ensures the entire pallet is securely sealed, eliminating the need for additional strapping, wrapping or packaging.
