DACHSER & Fercam Italia gathers pace
Effective March 28, 2024, DACHSER has acquired 80 percent of the shares in the joint venture DACHSER & Fercam Italia. This completes its acquisition of the majority of the groupage and contract logistics divisions of the Italian logistics company Fercam.
Smart border connect by DACHSER
DACHSER have today announced the formal launch of their new Smart Border Connect services, connect40 and connect42. These services will provide UK exporters, shipping on DDP incoterms, with frictionless access to DACHSER’S quality market leading European groupage network which transported 65.7 million intra European shipments in 2023.
DACHSER stays on course and expands its global network

Purchase of Frigoscandia completed
Effective today, Frigoscandia AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of DACHSER and thus part of the logistics provider’s Food Logistics network. This also marks the start of the Scandinavian company’s full integration into the DACHSER network. From now on, customers in the Nordic countries will benefit from uniform quality standards.

Lighting up the future – DACHSER UK assist with solar farm project
DACHSER UK recently played a significant role in the logistics of a widespread solar farm project, seamlessly coordinating across various divisions such as ASL, customs clearance, warehousing, and final mile deliveries.
The project, spanning two locations with the first site near Reading and the second in Leamington Spa, involved a substantial cargo volume of 164 x 40FT HC containers originating from Xingang, China. The Cargo Plus Customs Team (CPCT) in Dartford undertook a key responsibility in swiftly and efficiently clearing the cargo.
DACHSER tests emission-free refrigerated truck trailers
The first four battery-electric refrigerated truck trailers have been put into test operation into the DACHSER network in Erlensee, Hamburg and Langenau. The aim is to gain important experience with the still evolving technology of the eTrailers from the manufacturer Krone in everyday logistics.
