New location for DACHSER in Freiburg

DACHSER has acquired some 65,000 m2 of real estate in the Breisgau industrial park in Eschbach, a town near Freiburg, Germany. In August 2018, the logistics provider will start construction on a new logistics center, which will include a transit terminal with a total area of 6,117 m2 and 82 docking bays, plus a two-story office building. Completion of construction and the subsequent move are planned for mid-2019.

DACHSER opens new logistics centre in Freiburg

Thirty new jobs created at the Breisgau industrial park

Logistics provider DACHSER held a ceremony to mark the opening of its new logistics centre on the Breisgau industrial park in Freiburg, Germany. Covering a total area of 6,117 square meters, the new facility houses a transit terminal with 82 docking bays as well as a two-story office building. The company invested around EUR 22 million in the location, where it is also creating 30 new jobs.

DACHSER and FERCAM strengthen groupage and contract logistics business in Italy

 

FERCAM is set to transfer its Distribution (groupage) and Logistics (contract logistics) divisions to a joint venture with DACHSER under the name “DACHSER & FERCAM Italia S.r.l.”. DACHSER’s 80 percent share in the new venture strengthens and rounds off its European network. The transfer of control is still subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities.
