Bonded Excise facility
Dachser Northampton are now approved by H M Revenue and Customs to operate as a Bonded Excise Warehouse (Wet Bond) for the UK and Ireland. A full service is offered for receipt, storage, and delivery of alcohol products, including wines, beers and spirits, with suspension of excise duty / import duty / VAT until outbound clearance and consignment delivery takes place. The use of integrated warehouse management systems, employing barcode identification technology at each stage of the process, ensures full control and visibility of inventory on behalf of customers. The service can add significant advantage for traders in terms of reduced supply chain costs and improved delivery lead times to store.
