Oscars-night of the logistics industry
Once a year, the British logistics newspaper, International Freighting Weekly, presents the prestigious IFW-Awards. The event is the equivalent of the Oscars ceremony for the logistics industry.
Although it was the first time that Dachser UK had applied for the award, a qualified jury short-listed the company in the category “Freight Forwarder of the Year”. Dachser was among five finalists in this category.
In the end Dachser was narrowly beaten. “I am happy that, in the first year of applying for the award, Dachser UK was short-listed. This is a confirmation of our corporate strategy” said Nick Lowe, Managing Director of Dachser UK. Together with 20 customers and employees he watched the awards ceremony in London.
